Berlin International Music Project (BIMP) 2024

BBIS hosted the 14th Berlin International Music Project (BIMP) on 4 February 2024. What initially started as a collaboration between several schools in Berlin and Brandenburg has evolved to encompass schools from various parts of the globe. This year, students from Berlin British School, Dresden International School, Bavarian International School, Swiss International School, the Local Vocal Chamber Choir, and Ciszterci St. Stephen High School's Mixed Choir from Hungary joined our students on stage. This engaging and intensive music-making project offers young musicians the chance to connect and collaborate with singers and instrumentalists. The audience was treated to fantastic music performed by the junior and senior choir, senior orchestra, gospel choir, rock band, and samba band, showcasing the diverse talents and musical styles of the participating groups. Congratulations to all performers!

During the rehearsals and intense two-day BIMP weekend, the common love of music unites all the participants in orchestras, bands, and choirs, as they work together as a cohesive team towards the shared goal of enjoying the wonder of making music.Anna (Panni) Kovacs, BIMP Coordinator
