Ralf Märker joined the Facilities Management team in 2014. Since 2018, he has served as the Head of Technical Administration, overseeing a team of five staff members. Ralf is responsible for campus maintenance and repairs, as well as managing security and cleaning operations. With approximately 35 years of professional experience, Ralf also takes on small construction projects. A trained electrician, he further specialised as a refrigeration technician and later earned the qualification of State-Certified Technician in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC). Originally from Berlin, Ralf moved to the outskirts of the city after 55 years. He is married and has three grown-up children.
