Barbara de Freese-Medina Torres

Interim Head of Facilities Management

Barbara de Freese-Medina Torres joined BBIS in October 2024 as an interim Head of Facilities Management. An architect by training, she graduated from the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and has worked across Germany on new builds, modernisations, and refurbishments, including listed buildings. Over the last decade, Barbara has focused on project management, specialising in flexible office spaces and interior design. She led the coordination of Germany’s first TUMO Center for Technology and Design, an innovative educational project originally founded in Armenia. In her free time, she enjoys art, design, cinema, travel, yoga, and jogging. She has one adult daughter.
