Secondary School Librarian

When did you join BBIS?

April 2017 as a School Assistant, and since January 2021 as the Secondary School Librarian

What is your background?

My bookish background has taken me from bookstore management to book buying then on to public and high school librarianship in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

What inspires you in your professional role?

As Secondary School Librarian I am inspired by the power of literature to help us understand one another better.

What are you passionate about?

I’m passionate about reading and motivating others to read. I love asking and answering questions, as well as searching and researching.

What makes BBIS special?

BBIS is special in terms of its unique location on the Seeberg near woods and water and a market square, but mostly because of its bright, positive team and students from around the world. We are a work in progress, growing better together with the spirit that gives it the ol’ BBIS try each and every day.
